Clarity. Focus. Direction.
That is my mantra when I work with clients. Every session, every workshop, every encounter is to facilitate them to get clarity on the topic we’re working on. Clarity is power. When you are clear on the why, what, when, where, who and how of ‘it’, whatever ‘it’ is, it is much easier to see the wood for the trees and the next step to present itself.
And yet, and yet.
Business owners often resist working on their vision for their business.
- We don’t have time.
- We’re too busy.
- We don’t need it, we’re doing OK.
- We have no appetite to get together and work these things out.
- I only have a little business.
- It’s all in my head!
Perhaps it is FEAR stopping them. Perhaps they don’t realise the benefits of a vision. Perhaps the thought of creating a vision feels like setting yourself up for failure, as in ‘what if it never happens?’
A clear vision
- Identifies direction and purpose
- Inspires enthusiasm and commitment
- Sets standards of excellence
- Challenges you to stay focused
- Results in efficiency and productivity
- Facilitates business decisions
- Positions you as an effective leader
- Reflects your unique strengths and values
- Is a key communication tool inside and outside your business.
You can easily
- remind yourself about your plans for your business,
- for others to see,
- to believe in and
- to make happen.
With that kind of clarity, going to market becomes easier, making the right business decisions becomes clearer, and taking action that makes traction becomes simpler.
Clarity. Focus. Direction.
Microsoft was founded with a vision of a computer on every desk, and in every home.
You may not want to be the next Bill Gates. You may just want a small business. And do what you do. And love it and enjoy it and earn enough to pay your bills. That is a vision in itself.
Something to think about
What is YOUR vision for your business?
“Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart.” Anonymous
That can be scary. Perhaps even the biggest fear of all.
This is where I come into my own. Working with you, we dig for the diamonds. At a pace that suits you. Gentle and firm. That’s me – according to my clients.
Check it out for yourself, starting with an initial conversation. Grab yourself a session here. I look forward to speaking with you soon to see where you are with your vision for your business.
