May I ask you?
Are you on top of the finances in your business? Do you know your numbers? Do you understand your P&L? Your Balance Sheet? Do you know enough of the basics to interrogate the numbers yourself, ask questions, and make decisions, or do you totally rely on your accountant to tell you how it is?
Tough questions if you’re not ‘into finance’ or ‘a numbers person’ or consider it ‘best left to the experts.’
Getting a grip on your finances does require that you face the brutal facts about your business. And that can be uncomfortable if you are not at ease when it comes to money.
I believe that before you can master the finances in your business, you need to master your money. Your personal money. This is where I have discovered a problem. For many self-employed professionals, there’s an issue around money and it shows up in their business as
- Pitching their services too low
- Hating the selling conversation, talking about money
- Barely having enough, if any, to pay themselves for all their hard work.
There may be other reasons too. Not knowing how to price their services. Not knowing how to have successful sales conversations. Not having enough sales conversations. A business model that is not working.
The elephant in the room though, the conversation to be had, is the one about money. Specifically, their relationship with money.
It got me thinking.
What if there was a programme to help you Master Your Money?
What if it was specifically for self-employed professionals like therapists, counsellors, healers, homeopaths, practitioners of alternative medicine, coaches, HR professionals and others allied to the health care professions.
What if such a programme could take them from
fear, shame and guilt around money, where they avoid the subject, don’t open bank statements, overspend, are stuck in debt, hate selling, undersell themselves and don’t earn enough,
to a place where they are
comfortable with money, confidently taking charge of their money, using their newfound money management skills, and are excited about future possibilities they never thought feasible. In short, a new money identity.
What if I told you, there IS such a programme?
There is. It is called Master Your Money.

Why Me?
I have noticed that for many of my clients, money is an issue. It’s like a scourge in their lives. Always there. Can’t get away from it. The minute they think they’ve got things under control, along comes life with a curve ball and erodes the little bit of financial ease they have managed to establish. I know that path only too well.
Been there, done that, got the t-shirt several times over! I know what it feels like. I understand. Thanks to my teachers and mentors, I have developed a healthier relationship with money and, in the words of my own coach, become ‘a good money manager.’
So yes, I can help, but more importantly, I want you to know that you are safe with me. I have my own stories of money shame and guilt. I want you to be happy. No one can be happy when they are constantly worried about money.
If you’ll let me, I would be very honoured to be your guide and mentor.

Master your Money
Your values, beliefs, thoughts, emotions and behaviours about money, determine your results. No matter how much you know about managing your money, you are unlikely to implement and follow through if your mindset is one of ‘there’s not enough’, ‘money is the root of all evil’, ‘rich people are greedy’, or the like.
Mindset trumps skillset. Every time. Get yours working FOR you, not AGAINST you.
